Take a look at this image, and tell me what you think of this study.
What they did was trace the eye movements of men and women as they looked at a particular advertisement.
Their results were very telling.

Interesting, isn't it?
Women immediately gravitate to the face, and then scan the rest of the ad.
Men are drawn to the sexual areas of the picture first, and then down the rest of the ad.
This has obvious implications in advertising, but also in the concept of male "eye control."
Don't stare at the boobies, guys. She knows when you do.

Actually, it means that we're biologically programmed to look at the sexual areas first in order to decide if it's worth interacting with the face, and how we should proceed. In other words, are we sexually interested or not?

Hm mm…
If I was worried about men looking at my breasts, I would wear clothes that are not revealing. I am only offended if a man gets lost staring at my perky pair, and does not have the decency to make eye contact.
Actually, I kind of get a kick out of it- I agree with Jordan; you can't erase "biological programming." Boys will be boys…
And while yes, women do indeed gravitate to the face first, she will indeed peruse the rest of your body and size you up.

hi Carlos,
well, I didn't realize that you had a blog. this is a very interesting study. and yes it is obvious when a guy's main interest in a woman is sexual. he's gotta at least make a half-hearted effort to care about something more than that
cheers,
