• Intolerant. If a woman causes him problems or cramps his style, he’s outta there. Same thing if she doesn’t show enough respect for him.
• Indifference. He could give a crap what anyone else thinks about him.
• Disregard for approval. He doesn’t need you to approve how he looks, what he says, how he acts.
• Not intimated. Even the most beautiful woman doesn’t intimidate him.
• In touch with emotions. If he’s pissed off, he shows it. But usually with restraint. He’s not the out-of-control freak with a temper, but he isn’t afraid to show he’s angry.
• He’s honest to a fault. That means if he doesn’t like a woman, he’s not going to be nice to her or continue to date her so he doesn’t hurt her feelings.

2. Take on some of those traits. Incorporate some of that behavior into your own personality.

When you break down some of the traits that make up a so-called jerk, you realize that many of them are good qualities for most men to have. Look at which ones you think you could incorporate into your life. Remember that the true jerk is the one who hurts other people; so make sure that none of these behaviors actually hurt someone. There is a difference between hurting a woman’s feelings because you tell her you don’t like her that way and hurting a woman’s feelings because you pretended to like her to get her in the sack and then dumped her.

Look at the jerk traits that you can make work for you and adopt them today. Even if it feels odd at first, keep at it until it assimilates into your personality. In other words, fake it until you make it.
