QUESTION:<\/strong> You need to get out of the house, dude…<\/p>\n

Well about 6 months ago something happened and I decided not to go
\nout with friends and just stay inside my house and train in martial
\narts for 6 months straight. About 3 months into my goal I met this
\ngirl that goes to my school and we started talking and I find out
\nshe also takes martial arts and we started talking. She gave me the
\nobvious signs of interest but I didn’t move it further because
\nthere was no point because I am staying at home and dont go out.<\/p>\n

Her friends tell me that she was interested in me but I stopped
\ntalking to her.<\/p>\n

Well 6 months is almost over and I havent talked to her in a couple
\nof months and she still gives me signs (smiling at me during the
\nhalls.) She probably thinks I’m scared because I didn’t ask her
\nout.Should I just move on after my 6 months because she will
\nprobably think im scared or still try to get the number after 6
\nmonths is over?<\/p>\n

I think your self-imposed seclusion has a price, my friend. I
\nappreciate that you had a goal and wanted to accomplish it, and,
\nyes, it is sometimes necessary to swing the pendulum way over and
\nget extreme …<\/p>\n

Sometimes.<\/p>\n

This does seem a bit much. As a martial arts instructor, I
\nappreciate your dedication. However, keep in mind that true martial
\narts training (if it’s to be effective in real combat) would
\nrequire you to work with a partner. And you’ll still need to be
\ntraining on an ongoing basis. (There is no substitute for
\ninteracting with a live human being.)<\/p>\n

But again, I salute your dedication.<\/p>\n

The reason this girl still smiles at you is because it would be
\nsocially awkward not to acknowledge your previous conversations or
\nconnection.<\/p>\n

Here are your options…<\/p>\n

1) Tell her what you’re doing with your training, and then tell her you want to see her when your goal is complete. This is a great way of letting her know that you have your own life and path to follow. This is a turn-on to women.<\/p>\n

2) If she isn’t responsive to you later, chalk it up as the price you pay<\/strong> for sequestering yourself inside. Sometimes you can’t rebound back into someone’s life. Women are expecting ACTION<\/strong>. In evolutionary terms, women know that the men that make decisions and take action are a better survival bet for her.<\/p>\n

Does she want the guy that will protect her with his life, or the weepy guy who pees in his bear skin when the mammoth attacks?<\/p>\n

Look at it this way, you’ve got nothing to lose<\/strong> by asking, right? You don’t have her now, and the worst case is that it will be exactly the same after.<\/p>\n
