2. Stand above the masses. Use conversation to differentiate yourself from other men. Act as if you — and her — are in a different clique than the rest of the world. Make her feel as if you live a bit of an elite life (without putting others down or bragging), but showing that you are living in a privileged group and you are her key to entering that world. In a sense, what you are doing here is offering her an escape from her boring, predictable life.

3. Demonstrate through what you say that you have an adventuresome side. Show you aren’t afraid to take risks. Talk about exciting activities that show you know how to live life to the fullest.

For instance, maybe you can talk about your love of scuba diving or hiking the Inca trail, or anything else you’ve done in life that demonstrates your love of adventure. 4. Express your desire to protect your family and show they your loyalty.

If you show that you have a strong allegiance to a group of people, they will find that fascinating. The willingness to lay down your life for someone is extremely attractive quality.

5. Show you are a leader of men. Some men shy away from this concept, thinking that means they need to be CEO, president, or some other unrealistic leadership role. All you need to do is be a leader in your own sphere. You might be the guy who rounds up the neighbors for a block party every year. You might be captain of your volleyball team. Maybe you are in charge of the office’s annual holiday party. If you don’t act in some leadership capacity right now, find a way you can do so. Then, in conversation, you can casually demonstrate how you are a leader in your own circle of friends and acquaintances.
