{"id":689,"date":"2014-04-11T16:25:30","date_gmt":"2014-04-11T16:25:30","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.carlosxuma.com\/newsstand\/?p=689"},"modified":"2014-04-11T16:25:30","modified_gmt":"2014-04-11T16:25:30","slug":"how-do-guys-really-feel-about-the-depiction-of-women","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.carlosxuma.com\/newsstand\/how-to-attract-women\/how-do-guys-really-feel-about-the-depiction-of-women\/","title":{"rendered":"How do guys really feel about the depiction of women?"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Billboards, magazines and ads all portray an increasingly, unrealistic standards of what a \u201cperfect\u201d woman should be.<\/p>\n<p>Men are now beginning to objectify women a certain way that alters what he perceives an ideal woman that he should be with for the rest of his life.<\/p>\n<p>That adds a HUGE strain in the \u201cconnecting\u201d process as men find themselves identifying what they see on ads with the actual woman that they see in reality.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/www.attractwomen.com\/stealth-sqz\/\" target=\"_blank\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter\" alt=\"f87a1f13f5902207a6699b77fdc1d60c\" src=\"http:\/\/www.win-with-women.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/04\/f87a1f13f5902207a6699b77fdc1d60c-214x300.jpg\" width=\"214\" height=\"300\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>What they don\u2019t see on actuality becomes imperfections and that makes them stay away from what could possibly be a great chance in romance.<\/p>\n<p>A recent study by University at Buffalo sociologists has found that the portrayal of women in the popular media over the last several decades has become increasingly sexualized, even &#8220;pornified\u201d.<\/p>\n<p>These findings may be cause for concern, the researchers say, because previous research has found sexualized images of women to have far-reaching negative consequences for both men and women.<\/p>\n<p>Have you ever noticed when you\u2019re in a room full of women\u2026 you scan the room, and what\u2019s beautiful in your eyes OR what\u2019s sexually attractive to you are more or less similar to a woman you see in media?<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/www.attractwomen.com\/stealth-sqz\/\" target=\"_blank\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter\" alt=\"AriannyCeleste\" src=\"http:\/\/www.win-with-women.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/04\/AriannyCeleste-300x185.jpg\" width=\"300\" height=\"185\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>A new study conducted by Researchers at the University of Nebraska-Lincoln also confirmed what women have always said:<\/p>\n<p>People do look at their bodies more than their faces.<\/p>\n<p>Eye-tracking technology was used to see where the gazes of males and females stayed when they were shown pictures of women with different body types.<\/p>\n<p>With all these research studies, it only proves that men:<\/p>\n<p>1. \u00a0\u00a0Would look at a women\u2019s physicality first.<\/p>\n<p>2. \u00a0\u00a0Would go after a woman who <i>sexually<\/i> attracts them.<\/p>\n<p>Therefore, it can be concluded that the decision of men to go after a woman is mostly based on the physical aspect\u2026<\/p>\n<p>After all, men have a different biological imperative, and this is often vilified in the media. Men are often shamed for their natural sexual drives. We\u2019re made to appear \u201cbad\u201d or \u201csinful\u201d for our desires, simply because a man places a more immediate importance on physical features.<\/p>\n<p>This is simply because a man can determine a lot about a woman\u2019s suitability for mating based on body qualities. It doesn\u2019t mean we\u2019re just looking for skinny model features! We\u2019re merely making an assessment based on what we can see.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/www.attractwomen.com\/stealth-sqz\/\" target=\"_blank\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter\" alt=\"11\" src=\"http:\/\/www.win-with-women.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/04\/11.jpg\" width=\"275\" height=\"183\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>The same way women do with a man\u2019s facial features &#8211; which is not something that is commonly known or discussed.<\/p>\n<p>If you want a higher success rate in having a positive experience with a woman, the decision should transcend beyond the norm.<\/p>\n<p>What to do?<\/p>\n<p>The suggestion is NOT to stop from reading magazines or surfing the net\u2026that is next to IMPOSSIBLE at this day and age.<\/p>\n<p>What should be done is to do your best to go beyond what you see\u2026<\/p>\n<p>Factor in the following when scanning the room for a potential partner:<\/p>\n<p><strong>1. \u00a0\u00a0Is she confident?<\/strong> \u2013 take it from me, nothing is sexier than a woman who\u2019s comfortable in her own skin.<\/p>\n<p><strong>2. \u00a0\u00a0Is she smart?<\/strong> \u2013 as they say, the body may change over time, but the mind won\u2019t.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/www.attractwomen.com\/stealth-sqz\/\" target=\"_blank\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter\" alt=\"250x250\" src=\"http:\/\/www.win-with-women.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/04\/250x250.gif\" width=\"250\" height=\"250\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p><strong>3. \u00a0\u00a0Is she materialistic?<\/strong> \u2013 yes, we are all expected to treat women like a princess, and at times they deserve to be treated as such. But, wouldn\u2019t it be great if she understands practicality enough that you don\u2019t have to go broke just to be with her?<\/p>\n<p><strong>4. \u00a0\u00a0Is she honest?<\/strong> \u2013 You should feel you can trust her rather than feel the need to check on her all the time. This is a critical part of the decision process that most men overlook. And as a result, they pay dearly.<\/p>\n<p><strong>5. \u00a0\u00a0Is she supportive?<\/strong> \u2013 nothing beats a woman that\u2019s \u201cgot your back\u201d. You need to have a woman that is looking out for your best interests as well.
