Stumbling on your wife\u2019s infidelity is something you\u2019d least expect while watching a football game, but that\u2019s what happened to this man<\/a> recently. There he was, enjoying the game, when his wife was apparently texting another guy sweet nothings while he was taking a bathroom break.<\/p>\n

It turns out another person behind them saw the whole thing, so he slipped the husband a note after the game ended. So far, no one knows what happened to the couple after that fateful game.<\/p>\n

The \u201cGood Samaritan\u201d who took the situation into his own hands has received both praise (mostly from other dudes) and flak for his actions.<\/p>\n

And so, that begs the question \u2013 if you were in his shoes, would you have made the same call?<\/h3>\n

As for me, I\u2019m not comfortable with stepping into another guy\u2019s business, whether or not I thought she was in the wrong. I\u2019d feel differently if it was a life or death situation, but that was clearly not the case here.<\/p>\n

If it was true that she was cheating, I wouldn\u2019t be cool with that of course. But then I don\u2019t know those people; wouldn\u2019t it be overstepping my boundaries if I butted in?<\/p>\n

Prevention Is Key<\/strong><\/p>\n

In any case, cheating is definitely a risk in ALL relationships, no matter the circumstances. Maybe if that football couple had done something earlier on to prevent the alleged cheating, the guy wouldn\u2019t have gotten that note.<\/p>\n

Generally speaking, the best way to attack infidelity is on two levels, which is emotional AND sexual.<\/p>\n

Let\u2019s face it \u2013 those feelings of romance and infatuation will run its course anywhere from a few months to a year. When the time comes that your lives have become somewhat routine and predictable, you need to bring your A-game.<\/p>\n

It\u2019s shocking how many guys don\u2019t realize that they tend to get sloppy as time goes by, and it leaves their partners emotionally unsatisfied. Maybe you\u2019re not complimenting her anymore about her new haircut, or seem to care about the struggles she\u2019s having at the office.<\/p>\n

The point is, if you\u2019ve become too comfortable and complacent in the relationship, it could drive her to find another guy who\u2019s going to make her feel special like you once did.<\/p>\n

Not that I\u2019m assuming anything about the guy with the texting wife; I\u2019m just saying that being emotionally supportive wouldn\u2019t hurt a couple.<\/p>\n

Bedroom Matters<\/strong><\/p>\n

Then there\u2019s the matter of sex. Just like romantic feelings, the passion and lust will wane over time \u2013 there\u2019s nothing you can do to prevent that.<\/p>\n

What you can prevent, however, is from letting that natural phase get in the way of having consistently satisfying sex.<\/p>\n

Think of it like pizza – no matter how good it may be, it will get a little boring if you kept having the SAME thing all the time. So ask yourself if you\u2019re doing enough of the following:<\/p>\n
