{"id":904,"date":"2015-02-18T18:14:39","date_gmt":"2015-02-18T18:14:39","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.carlosxuma.com\/newsstand\/?p=904"},"modified":"2015-02-18T18:14:40","modified_gmt":"2015-02-18T18:14:40","slug":"are-you-killing-your-inner-game","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.carlosxuma.com\/newsstand\/how-to-attract-women\/are-you-killing-your-inner-game\/","title":{"rendered":"Are you killing your Inner Game?"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Have you ever watched one of those slasher flicks where the characters are obviously walking into a death trap, but don\u2019t know it?<\/p>\n<p>I\u2019m talking about classics like Friday the 13<sup>th<\/sup> and Scream, and you just want to yell at them so they don\u2019t the spend the night in that creepy cabin in the woods, or wander off alone to \u201ccheck on that noise\u201d.<\/p>\n<p>And sure enough, that ax-wielding dude picks them off, one by one.<\/p>\n<p>It\u2019s frustrating as hell. It\u2019s kind of like how I look at a lot of guys &#8211; and the way they lay waste to their dating lives without even knowing it.<\/p>\n<p>In particular, I wanted to point out a couple of typical attitude mistakes that I see all the time, like a bad movie clich\u00e9.<\/p>\n<h3><strong>Learn the Importance of Getting It Together<\/strong><\/h3>\n<p>Ok, this is actually an area of your life that isn\u2019t directly related to dating, but still needs to be sorted out. Otherwise, your ability to attract women will suffer.<\/p>\n<p>I\u2019ve seen plenty of men who don\u2019t make their lives work for them, and it affects their dating lives as well. For instance, there\u2019s this one guy I know who would always spend too much time trying to meet women and end up missing work the next day.<\/p>\n<p>Instead of putting his foot down and learning when to call it quits, he\u2019d hit on women all night and let the other parts of his life suffer. This is a harmful habit because he\u2019s letting other people dictate his schedule, and it makes for a bad impression on women.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/www.attractwomen.com\/alphasexualpower\/\" target=\"_blank\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-medium wp-image-6278\" src=\"http:\/\/www.win-with-women.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/12\/woman-rejecting-man-132017329-300x199.jpg\" alt=\"woman-rejecting-man-132017329\" width=\"300\" height=\"199\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<h4>Beware &#8211; this sloppy attitude also manifests itself in other ways:<\/h4>\n<ul>\n<li>Letting your gym membership run out<\/li>\n<li>Being late to appointments<\/li>\n<li>Flaking out on people<\/li>\n<li>Not managing your personal and work hours properly<\/li>\n<li>Not following through on your promises<\/li>\n<li>Making impulsive decisions instead of thinking them through<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>This is why you need to put a stop to it before it becomes a cycle that feeds on itself. I know guys that feel bad for not doing something about it, then go out on dates with a negative vibe, making things even worse.<\/p>\n<p>And when you\u2019re convinced that you\u2019re no good around women, you\u2019ll shuffle into life, thinking it\u2019s pointless to try at all.<\/p>\n<p>But these are nothing more than mental weeds that you need to uproot from your mind so they don\u2019t cloud your thoughts.<\/p>\n<p>To do that, read up on motivational and\/or self-help material to break out of your funk. Once you start taking control of your life in general, your dating life will follow.<\/p>\n<h4>But remember, do it for yourself whether you\u2019re single or not. Attracting women is simply a side effect of an improved attitude.<\/h4>\n<p>Don\u2019t make women think, \u201cHow can this guy be anyone\u2019s boyfriend if he can\u2019t even manage his life properly?\u201d<\/p>\n<p><strong>Take Off Your \u201cDoom and Gloom Goggles\u201d<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>You know how there\u2019s always that one guy in the movie that keeps bringing down the rest of the group with his negative vibe?<\/p>\n<p>He\u2019s the guy who keeps saying stuff like \u201cwe\u2019re all gonna die\u201d and \u201cgame over man!\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Instead of actually doing something about the situation (e.g. finding a nearby weapon, planning an escape route), this dude spends way too much time cursing his luck.<\/p>\n<p>At one time or another, we\u2019ve been put upon life in some way. However, there are always two options, which is: a) act like a victim, or b) take action instead.<\/p>\n<p>Again, this doesn\u2019t have much to do with dating itself, but making the right choice (read: option b) will consequently boost your success with women.<\/p>\n<p>Think of it this way: if you were a chick, would you want to hang out with the guy who keeps treating every little hitch as the end of the world?<\/p>\n<p>Or would you rather go out with someone who\u2019s more focused on having a great time and making you feel good?<\/p>\n<h4>If you don\u2019t feel confident enough to deal with life\u2019s little curveballs, what kind of impression would you make on her?<\/h4>\n<p>Here\u2019s a challenge you can try on for size today: instead of seeing the worst possible outcome in a stressful situation, think of the things you can do turn it around.<\/p>\n<p>It\u2019s better to distract yourself by focusing on damage control; that way, there won\u2019t be any room for despair or other negative thoughts.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/www.attractwomen.com\/alphasexualpower\/\" target=\"_blank\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-6030\" src=\"http:\/\/www.win-with-women.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/08\/aspnew-300x250.jpg\" alt=\"aspnew-300x250\" width=\"300\" height=\"250\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>Let\u2019s say you were stuck in line at the ATM machine, and you didn\u2019t have any choice but to wait your turn. Would you rather focus your thoughts on how long you had to wait?<\/p>\n<h4>Or maybe, you\u2019re better off diverting your mind towards productive thoughts such as:<\/h4>\n<ul>\n<li>Plan the rest of your day<\/li>\n<li>Think about what you\u2019ll do this weekend<\/li>\n<li>Play a game on your phone<\/li>\n<li>Put on your headphones and listen to music<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>You can apply this kind of thinking to other situations. So being a responsible guy means taking responsibility for your emotions, i.e. not acting like a victim of your circumstances.<\/p>\n<p>When you\u2019re in control of how you react to a situation, you\u2019ll appear more mature to the people around you \u2013 that goes for hot women too.<\/p>\n<p>And that\u2019s really what Alpha behavior is all about: being in control of your life AND your emotions.
