Not even close.<\/p>\n<p>Go through that list, and really ask yourself if pulling those stunts won\u2019t get you arrested or brand yourself as a desperate, try-hard creep.<\/p>\n<p>And it\u2019s not just Hollywood that\u2019s feeding us with the belief that doing crazy stuff will earn us a \u201cBoyfriend of the Year\u201d award.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/www.win-with-women.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/02\/valentinesbum.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter wp-image-6476 size-medium\" src=\"http:\/\/www.win-with-women.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/02\/valentinesbum-300x169.jpg\" alt=\"attract women\" width=\"300\" height=\"169\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>I\u2019m talking about the insidious \u201choliday\u201d on the 14th of February. If you\u2019re a reasonable, well-adjusted guy, you\u2019d have enough sense to know you\u2019re supposed to be romantic on a fairly REGULAR BASIS with your lady.<\/p>\n<p>If you\u2019re feeling the pressure to do something over-the-top on Valentine\u2019s Day, let me offer you a little perspective on this \u201cspecial\u201d occasion.<\/p>\n<p>Consider this: cramming all your efforts into a desperate, Hail Mary-esque, one-shot deal doesn\u2019t exactly make for a healthy relationship.<\/p>\n<p>Believe me, I\u2019m not against the idea of romance. Why would I when it\u2019s the lifeblood of a stable, lasting relationship?<\/p>\n<h3 style=\"text-align: center;\">What <em>I am<\/em> against is having the idea of romance rammed down my throat by a bunch of marketing people who are basically out to make a few bucks during a certain day of the year.<\/h3>\n<p>Let\u2019s face it &#8211; the only other people who are happiest on Valentine\u2019s Day are the folks working at Hallmark.<\/p>\n<p>Being affectionate with your lady and reminding her that she\u2019s the love of your life is one thing.<\/p>\n<p>Hitting her over the head with it in the course of ONE day &#8211; while ignoring her needs the rest of the year &#8211; is another.<\/p>\n<p>But chances are you\u2019re not like that. You might be thinking, \u201cHey, I show my lady she\u2019s special ALL the time\u2026why I can\u2019t do the same on Valentine\u2019s Day?\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Of course you can, but just remember to keep it within reason &#8211; and more importantly, look at the BIG PICTURE.<\/p>\n<p>Let me tell you, I\u2019ve helped lots of clients over the years, and I\u2019ve noticed a common trait among plenty of misguided guys.<\/p>\n<p>They feel obligated to perform impossible feats worthy of a Hollywood script to \u201cfight\u201d for their lady\u2019s love.<\/p>\n<p>It gets especially worse on Valentine\u2019s Day when that over-the-top mentality gets compounded with an artificial need to prove themselves on a certain date of the year.<\/p>\n<p>Don\u2019t be that guy.<\/p>\n<p>Avoid falling into the marketing trap of pulling out all the stops on Valentine\u2019s Day (e.g. buying overpriced crap to show you care) just so your lady can brag about it on Facebook (i.e. \u201cI have the BEST boyfriend in the world XOXO\u201d).<\/p>\n<p>Ask yourself: did you really hire that band and make reservations at that overpriced restaurant because you care about her\u2026or was it just for posterity?<\/p>\n<p>Instead of treating a specific date on your calendar as the be-all, end-all of your love life, simply think of it as a milestone of your relationship as a whole.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/attractwomen.com\/7words-craving\/\" target=\"_blank\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-6414\" src=\"http:\/\/www.win-with-women.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/10\/Lust-Response_B_468x60.jpg\" alt=\"Lust Response_B_468x60\" width=\"468\" height=\"60\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>Valentine\u2019s Day should NEVER serve as a yardstick of your commitment for someone.
