As kids, our folks always gave us practical advice like \u201cDon\u2019t play in traffic\u201d or \u201cNever run with sharp objects.\u201d<\/p>\n

Well, here\u2019s a valuable life lesson to add to that list: \u201cDon\u2019t make fun of people who can kick your ass.\u201d<\/p>\n

This guy learned that the hard way<\/a> when he taunted a girl that she couldn\u2019t beat him in a physical confrontation. As he found out, if you mess with the proverbial bull, you\u2019ll get the horns.<\/p>\n

And by \u201cget the horns\u201d, I mean \u201chaving a UFC champion throw you down on a hard, flat surface and breaking four ribs<\/em><\/strong>.\u201d<\/p>\n

Hit that play button a few times to let it sink in. Go ahead, knock yourself out.<\/p>\n

Of course, you can easily tell that the whole thing was set up, but it doesn\u2019t make that epic, rib-shattering moment any less painful. And even though this was a pre-planned exercise in kick-assery, there were a few important takeaways nonetheless:<\/p>\n

#1: It\u2019s Always a Good Idea to be a Gentleman, No Matter What the Situation is<\/strong><\/h4>\n

Sometimes, you\u2019ll meet a woman who\u2019ll turn out to be unpleasant, abrasive or just plain rude. It happens all the time, whether you\u2019re first approaching a girl or when you\u2019re already on a date.<\/p>\n

Whatever the case, the Alpha Male will always choose the higher ground, especially when the other person is trying to piss him off.<\/h5>\n

Most men would never tell a woman, \u201cI don\u2019t think you have as much strength and can compete with a man\u201d like Mr. Busted Ribs, but there are guys who like putting down women in more subtle ways.<\/p>\n

Don\u2019t be one of them – ditch the PUA routines that involve backhanded insults to bring a girl \u201cdown a few notches\u201d.<\/p>\n

When I was new to dating (and attraction in general), I\u2019d run into the occasional woman who\u2019d tell me to \u201cf*** off\u201d just for talking to her. Even back then, I knew I\u2019d just make it worse if I tried getting even with a comeback.<\/p>\n

Instead, I\u2019d say, \u201cHey, I didn\u2019t mean to cross any boundaries \u2013 it was nice chatting with you though.\u201d Even if an approach goes to hell or a date crashes and burns, being able to walk away with your dignity is always a priority.<\/strong><\/p>\n

#2: If You\u2019re out of Your Depth, Zip It<\/strong><\/h4>\n

Keeping a conversation going is always a good thing when it comes to meeting women \u2013 but not when you obviously don\u2019t know what you\u2019re talking about.<\/p>\n

As you saw in the video, a self-proclaimed white belt won\u2019t get anywhere by talking about martial arts with an EXPERT on the subject.<\/p>\n

A better plan of attack would be to PREPARE in advance \u2013 read up on the topics that you DO like and go the places where you\u2019ll find women with similar interests.<\/p>\n

Whether you\u2019re into abstract painting, rock climbing, heavy metal or quantum physics, there will always be a social circle built on your passions. And once you tap into the right network, you won\u2019t have to struggle just to keep up with the women you like.<\/p>\n

#3: Learn to Roll With the Blows<\/strong><\/p>\n

Sometimes, life will give you lemons, throw you a curveball or violently slam you to the ground like a rag doll.<\/p>\n

The only way an Alpha Male would respond to adversity is to keep getting up<\/em><\/strong>.<\/p>\n

As Batman\u2019s dad once said: \u201cWhy do we fall, Bruce? So we can learn to pick ourselves up.\u201d<\/h5>\n

Take a date, for instance. Let\u2019s say you had the perfect evening planned out with your lady, but then things went haywire.<\/p>\n

Maybe the sudden downpour ruined your plans for your \u201cimpromptu\u201d romantic picnic at the park, or your wallet went AWOL when the dinner bill came. Either way, you can\u2019t lose your cool in front of your woman.<\/p>\n

As far as your date is concerned, she\u2019s looking to YOU for a sense of direction, even if things don\u2019t go exactly as planned. So have a backup contingency in place as much as possible \u2013 but don\u2019t flip out even if you don\u2019t.<\/p>\n

I have to hand it to that guy in the video \u2013 he could have whined about getting slammed, but he took it like a man and even<\/em> made a joke about it.<\/p>\n

Instead of focusing on the negative, think of your little road bumps as an opportunity to give her a little hint of your masculine strength. Even if you screw up from time to time, you\u2019ll still be as every bit as Alpha if you can make light of a bad situation<\/strong>.<\/p>\n
